The Turnpike, Leigh

 

photographs i took on a sunny evening in march. i'd cycled into town in the hope of photographing some of leigh's modernist delights against the low sun.

two random acts of kindness occurred: a man stopped on the east lancs to help me fix my bike and another man, probably not much older than me, told me the lens cap was hanging off of my camera.
